Natural Cold Cream Recipe

  • 1 ounces by weight grapeseed oil
  • 1 ounces by weight meadowfoam oil
  • 1 ounces beeswax
  • 2 ounces distilled water or aloe vera juice
  • 1 ounces vegetable glycerine
  • {1/2 teaspoon optiphen preservative if you want}
  • 10 drops essential oils if desired {I like carrot and geranium}

Melt the first 4 ingredients together in a double boiler.

Take off the heat and beat the mix with a stick blender. Add in the glycerine, preservative and essential oils during this last phase.

Keep in the fridge if you decide not to add a preservative. Lasts two weeks without a preservative and up to a few months with the optiphen.
