Love bites... deal with itTough Titties Nipple Rub™ (for nursing mums) net wt. 2oz

What's in it?

Coconut Oil
High in lauric fatty acids, which is believed to have antimicrobial properties, coconut oil goes on smooth and makes you happy (just kidding). Coconut oil is a great natural lubricant.

Lanolin is sheep wool fat. It is the prime ingredient in nipple preparations.

Fit for a queen... (thickens up the formula up so that it's easer to handle).

Lemon Essential Oil
Antiseptic but smells like lollipops!

Geranium Essential Oil
Geranium is a very gentle essential oil with antiseptic properties. Also smells great.

Clove Essential Oil
There's just a wee bit of this in Tough Titties Nipple Rub. It adds some nice spice and is slightly analgesic.

Vitamin E
Generally good for your skin and acts as antioxidant.

Couldn't I just use straight up lanolin?
Sure you could. I made this product to be less sticky than the typical lanolin sold for this purpose. I wanted a nursing balm that went on smooth and easy so I made this. Try it, you'll like it.

Do I need to wash it off before nursing?
I get this question a lot -- most people are concerned about the essential oils (less than 1 percent of the formula). Basically Tough Titties is like a glorified lip balm (with extra lanolin for smoothness). It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave much to wipe off.

Conventional wisdom says to apply the breastfeeding balm before nursing -- I did this somewhat but applying the balm after feeding and after showering worked best for me. It's all about preventing cracks. I tell my customers to do what they feel is best -- to my knowledge and in my personal experience it isn't necessary.

How long will it last?
A little dab will do ya... for a long time.

Apply Tough Titties Nipple Rub to entire nipple area after each feeding or as needed for dry, cracked or just sore nipps.
